Following the Obama administration’s release of new electronic record keeping rules, union groups and other industry organizations raised their concerns about possible loopholes in the new OSHA rules on electronic record keeping. Feds mulling more sanctions against Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli

Federal prosecutors appear to have more ammunition against the so-called Pharma Bro, former Turing CEO Martin Shkreli, as he faces a securities fraud case.

For a little backgrounder on Shkreli, the youthful executive and hedge fund manager gained notoriety last year for dramatically jacking up the prices of the AIDS drug Daraprim. Not only did he raise prices by about 5,000 percent to $750, he also gloated about it, showing no remorse for his actions and always putting up a smug front. And when the Pharma Bro found himself in hot water with the Feds for securities fraud and running a Ponzi-esque scheme while at it, many felt that it served him just right.

The literature prosecutors are now leafing through is quite extensive – reports say about two million pages of additional evidence are being reviewed, which could potentially lead to more charges against the 33-year-old Shkreli. And if his previous behavior is any indication, he doesn’t seem all too perturbed by it all, even as he prepares to face the securities fraud charges next month.

Aside from alleged price gouging and acting like a mini-(Bernie) Madoff of sorts, Shkreli has also been beefing with mainstays of the hip-hop scene. In January, he got into a social media tiff versus Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah, after he had bid $2 million for the only existing copy of an exclusive album from the hip-hop legends. He had then threatened to destroy that album rather than sell it, or even share it to other people. He then tweeted a month later that congressional representatives were “imbeciles” while testifying for a separate case.
